Michael Jordan Marries Yvette Prieto

Being the semi-sports fan that I am, this wedding naturally caught my attention. The great Michael Jordan marries his girlfriend of five years Yvette Prieto. These photos I found from the net show very little of their wedding details, but once I get more info I will post them here.

All I know is that they rented out a huge reception venue, and that the wedding dress looked really pretty!

Kate Moss' Perfect Garden Wedding

When I was planning my own wedding, I found Kate Moss' wedding as one of my top inspirations. It looks simple but well-planned. When I saw photos of her wedding, I realized I wanted to have my wedding where there is a lot of greens. I initially wanted a beach wedding, but a location wedding was not feasible so a garden wedding was as far as I could get to a nature-inspired wedding.

Well, I ended up having a semi-boheme wedding, but Kate Moss' wedding inspired most of it! Hope these inspires you too! Photos from Vogue.com.

Vintage Look Fabric Bouquet

Here is a closer look at my fabric bouquet! I wanted a vintage feel and look and I'm glad that my supplier was able to achieve it. I asked her to use shades of brown and dark purple and to put lace for the vintage look. This cut my cost in half--I would've spent more if I opted for the "real" flowers bouquet. And I got to keep it longer too!

It's still prettily displayed inside our glass cabinet. Yup, I refused to throw the bouquet on my wedding.

Jon + Ellaine

I thought I'd share my own wedding portait in this blog! Credits go out to our terrific husband and wife wedding photographer tandem CamZar Photography. Our wedding was held in the city but we are blessed to have a venue that has a lot of greens around it!

Button Bouquet

I went for a fabric bouquet instead of the usual floral bouquet, but I wanted a more practical option that will also allow me to keep the bouquet even after the wedding day. One of my options was a button bouquet, but I wanted a more vintage look that only a fabric bouquet can achieve better. Here are some of my inspirations when I was looking for button bouquets. It's a great alternative to using a really expensive florist! Plus, if you are really creative, you can even make one on your own.

Ruffled Wedding Dresses

Your dreamy wedding can be made even more perfect with the right choice of dress. I opted for a simple dress when I got married, simple because I want to be able to move comfortably throughout the day. I still had a little bit of difficult time moving around in my long dress anyway! Ruffled wedding dresses were my 2nd choice had it not looked too bulky for my taste. Here are some inspirations if you want to wear ruffles on your big day. Found this online, some are even designer dresses:

Wedding Cake for A Summer Wedding

Are you having a summer-themed wedding or a wedding to be held on a summer day? Here are some inspirations on the wedding cake that I found online, which may suit your sunny and bright wedding day. Characterized by loud colors or green, orange and yellow with bright (mostly floral) designs, these cakes would surely stand out and add color to your reception. Plus, they are eye candies that must really taste great and would look awesome on camera!
